The itinerary goes through the territory of Toscolano Maderno on top of the mountains with its green lawns and olive trees, sloping gently until it reaches lake Garda. We start at the main square, right at the bridge that divides the territory of Maderno and Toscolano taking the road going uphill. After 200 m we turn right onto a steep path. After 450 meters we reach a picturesque village where we take the cement street that goes uphill on the right hand side using the 1st or 2nd gear. The road continues with alternating slopes on cobbled paving changing into un-surfaced road. Riding in the shade of a dense vegetation, at km 1,900 we reach a paved road. Take the street on your right and follow the white-red trail mark arriving soon in the village of Sanico. After 200 meters we follow the direction for S. Urbano and Spino. On the steep and narrow road we change to 1st or 2nd gear, but riding on paved road we can save some energy. Passing the “Baita del Cacciatore” we ride a few meters on paved road and continue on un-surfaced road until reaching at km 4,150 the “Croce di Ortello” with a lovely panorama overlooking lake Garda. We continue our ride until the crossroads at km 5,400 where we follow the direction for S. Urbano to be reached at km 6,600. We continue our ride on the apparently flat ground following the indications for Pirello and Spino and after less than 1 km we turn right into the road going steeply uphill, which soon becomes a mule track and then a footpath. At km 8,400 we arrive at the Pirello where we follow the cart road downhill and at km 1,300 we keep the right passing in front of a building in Colomber. Now the road is paved and shortly, crossing over the bridge and keeping left, we pass through “Ponte Ferdinando”. We turn left to Fasano and pass through S. Michele riding along “Via della Colma”. We reach a crossroads and follow the indications for Supiane. At km 18,500 we arrive at Fasano.
